Courthouse Lighting Wedding Anniversary

Dec 7, 2016 | People of Prescott

A beautiful love story culminated in a wedding right after the 2015 annual Courthouse Christmas Lighting.  Jenn Winters and Tom Ashcraft met and fell in love while both healing from personal tragedies.  She had moved to Prescott after the 9/11 attacks in New York City and he was still mourning the loss of his son, Andrew, one of the Prescott 19 who died during the Yarnell Hill Fire 3 years ago.

At this year’s Lighting, they celebrated their first anniversary and danced below the steps of the Courthouse where they were married a year ago.

From Jenn:

We would like to publicly thank… all the town’s people blessing us by staying for our wedding! We’ll always have this awesome memory! We LOVE this town! Thank you!❤️❤️
